The analytics loop

After each Short goes live, song.money checks back at one hour, twenty-four hours, seventy-two hours and seven days, then every six hours for a month, pulling views, likes, comments and watch-through from YouTube Analytics.

Those numbers are joined back to the creative choices behind each video — visual style, palette, cut length, hook phrasing, posting hour. Once you have enough posted history, the AI director receives your best and worst performers as context and leans into what your audience actually responds to. The dashboard shows the same summary in plain language: your best style, your best hour, your best duration.

Captions and safe areas

Vocal tracks get word-level lyric captions from automatic transcription, laid out inside the Shorts safe area so the player chrome never covers a line. You can edit the transcript inline and the timings re-align proportionally.

Instrumental tracks are detected and skip captions entirely rather than printing nonsense over your artwork.
